International Business Management is a five-year degree programme at the AACSB-accredited Oulu Business School. It leads to a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration. The programme focuses on international business management from a Nordic perspective, with creativity and sustainability as main drivers. Students study entrepreneurial leadership, responsible business, and contemporary global business challenges.
Teaching combines theory and practice through lectures, group work, practical exercises, individual assignments, and company projects. The bachelor’s degree includes general studies, basic and intermediate international business management studies, and minor studies. Students may include practical training in their studies, and the fall semester of the third year is reserved for exchange studies.
Oulu Business School says that accepted students automatically receive the right to continue to the master’s degree in International Business Management. The bachelor’s thesis is written in the final stage of the bachelor’s studies.
