Laurea separate application, Master of Business Administration (UAS)

Laurea University of Applied Sciences offers this Master of Business Administration (UAS) separate application for applicants with interrupted master’s studies or for pathway students at Laurea. The route for interrupted studies is for applicants who have completed at least 55 credits in a Finnish higher education institution towards a specific education or degree programme leading to a Master’s degree and who aim to complete that degree. If the interrupted studies were completed at Laurea, at least one semester must have passed since the interruption.

The pathway-student route is for applicants who have completed at least 30 credits of Master’s level studies at Laurea’s Open University of Applied Sciences. The studies must be registered in the study register before applying. Laurea states that the selection criteria include academic performance, which covers study success, suitability for the field, language skills, attitude towards studies, and study skills. The duration of studies depends on the number of previously completed courses, and a personal study plan (HOPS) is created for each student.

Applicants must meet one of these routes:

• At least 55 credits completed in a Finnish higher education institution towards a specific education or degree programme leading to a Master’s degree, with studies interrupted and the aim of completing the degree. If the interrupted studies were completed at Laurea, at least one semester must have passed since the interruption.
• Pathway students at Laurea University of Applied Sciences who have completed at least 30 credits of Master’s level studies at Laurea’s Open University of Applied Sciences. The studies must be registered in the study register before applying.
