About this program

The programme focuses on digital health, digital social and health care services, service production, expert organisation management, service quality and management. It also covers planning, implementing and evaluating social welfare and health care reform in different operational environments.

Studies are working-life focused. The degree consists of 90 ECTS credits: 30 ECTS of common studies, 30 ECTS of field-specific professional studies and a thesis. Savonia says the studies are online, and students make a personal study plan with their tutoring teacher. The thesis can be based on development needs in the student’s own work or work community, or on the needs of partner organisations.

The programme is designed for graduates who want to develop digital social and health care services and work in expert or managerial roles.
