Master of Business Administration, DP in Project Management

The Master of Business Administration in Project Management is a professional higher education degree in business and administration. It focuses on skills and competencies for work in local and international project environments. The programme is suitable for business and engineering professionals who want a master’s degree in project management and aim for project managerial and leadership positions.

Students learn about building and motivating teams, using tools for effective project management and research, and achieving IPMA level C competence.

The studies last 1.5 years and are taught in blended mode in English. The curriculum includes compulsory professional studies, one free-choice course and a master’s thesis. Teaching begins with the fundamental principles of the discipline and then moves to case studies and discussion with professional project managers.

A Bachelor or master degree in Business Administration or a Bachelor in Hospitality Management completed in Finland, or an equivalent bachelor or master degree completed outside Finland, gives eligibility to apply. Finnish post-secondary or higher vocational level diploma in the corresponding field completed in Finland also gives eligibility. 24 months of work experience from the related field is required from the date of award of the bachelor degree or Finnish post-secondary or higher vocational level diploma.
