Master of Business Administration, Health Business Management, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences

Health Business Management is a Master of Business Administration degree for Bachelors of Business Administration professionals with work experience from, or career plans in, the restructuring of the social and health care field. Metropolia University of Applied Sciences says the programme uses a multidisciplinary approach to seek innovative solutions and new business models for services that are economical, efficient, high quality and human-oriented.

Students from business, engineering, health care and social services work together on problem-solving situations and learning tasks. The programme also gives students an environment to practise and strengthen their international and communication skills in a multicultural group of peers, staff and faculty.

The thesis is 30 ECTS credits. Students demonstrate independent research and development capability in their area of expertise. Metropolia University of Applied Sciences says the thesis is often completed with an employer, public or private sector organisations, Metropolia innovation hubs, or other partners.
