Master of Business Administration, Interactive Technologies

Master of Business Administration – Interactive Technologies is centred on full-stack development for programmers. It covers front-end interactive interfaces, back-end technologies, UX and UI design principles, problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting, and optimising code for efficiency and performance.

The programme runs for 2 years and is worth 90 ECTS credits. Studies are organised into compulsory core competence studies, elective complementary competence studies, and a thesis. The thesis starts at the beginning of the studies and is carried out as a working life-oriented development project. The studies include contact lectures and teamwork, and the programme can be completed while working full-time.

Turku University of Applied Sciences describes the programme as suitable for people with a strong foundation in programming. It leads to work in complex next generation information systems and interactive technology specialist roles.

Eligibility requires a higher education degree in the ICT field completed in Finland or abroad, or a Finnish post-secondary or higher vocational level diploma in the ICT field. Applicants must also have at least 24 months of relevant work experience, counted from the date of award of the eligible final degree certificate and obtained no later than the end of the application semester.
