This online MBA in Strategic Leadership and Business Transformation for Sustainable Futures focuses on leadership under complexity and uncertainty, economics and finance for strategic decision-making, post-growth economic models and systems thinking, business innovation for sustainable futures, future literacy for strategic business transformation, and business research and development methods.
The programme is organised into 60 ECTS of core competence studies and 30 ECTS of profiling competence studies. The core studies include a 30 ECTS master’s thesis based on a working-life development project. Profiling competence studies are selected from Lapland UAS Master School offerings to support a personalised study plan.
Lapland University of Applied Sciences describes the programme as suitable for professionals and managers in business, the public sector, and civil society who may already hold, or aspire to move into, managerial, team leadership, project leadership, or business development roles. It leads to a master’s degree at EQF level 7 and qualifies the holder for public office and positions that require a master’s degree.
