The programme focuses on procurement as a strategic function. You study procurement operations and strategy, collaboration and negotiation skills, supplier relationship management, procurement analytics and technology, contract and risk management, and sustainable procurement. It also includes advanced business studies, research methods and skills, electives, and a Master’s thesis.

Metropolia organises the programme fully online and on a part-time basis. Modern online learning solutions support interaction with teachers, other students, and staff. The orientation day begins with a hybrid session that can be attended on campus in Vantaa or online.

The thesis is a procurement-related development project for a company, usually the student’s workplace. The programme is designed for students who want distance learning or to study while working.
