Master of Business Administration, Quality Management

Turku University of Applied Sciences describes the Master of Business Administration, Quality Management as part of its Master School. The programme focuses on planning, developing and managing quality system processes, continuous improvement, creative problem solving, quality management principles in industry, quality tools, lean principles, risk management, and research and development methods.

The degree is 90 ECTS credits and is structured as advanced professional studies, optional studies and a master's thesis. Turku UAS states that the thesis work starts at the beginning of the studies and is carried out as a working-life development project related to the student's job, with study assignments also linked to the workplace. The studies are delivered online and include scheduled online teaching, teamwork, guided independent learning and face-to-face lectures according to schedules.

Turku UAS says the studies support students to develop into demanding expert and supervisor jobs. The programme is designed so that students can study while working full-time and connect their thesis to an employer organisation.

• A higher education degree completed in Finland or abroad, or a Finnish post-secondary or higher vocational level diploma.
• At least 24 months of work experience accumulated from the date of award of the eligible final degree certificate and obtained no later than the end of the application semester.
