The Master of Culture and Arts in Education Entrepreneurship bridges education, entrepreneurship, design and innovation. It focuses on education innovations and social impact initiatives, and on leading innovation in educational organisations and companies.
The programme is 60 ECTS credits and lasts one year. It uses blended learning with online and video-conferencing sessions, self-paced assignments, and 2 to 4 face-to-face sessions in Oulu. The structure includes an online introduction in August, a mandatory three-day session in Oulu in September, weekly online sessions, a winter session in Oulu, and a spring wrap-up workshop with thesis project presentations.
Oulu University of Applied Sciences says the cohort is interdisciplinary and international, and that the programme is completed in a collaborative, working-life focused learning environment.
