This Master of Business Administration programme in Technology Law focuses on law at the intersection of digital technology, AI, business and the public sector. Laurea University of Applied Sciences says it is for legal, business, technology and public-sector professionals who want to shape how law works in a digital, AI-driven world.
The programme is 90 ECTS credits and is delivered fully online in English. It includes programme-specific core studies, joint core studies, complementary studies and a master’s thesis. Live online sessions are scheduled and require attendance. Some studies can be completed independently, and students can progress at their own pace alongside work.
Programme-specific core studies include international technology contract law, intellectual property rights, privacy, cyber resilience, data ownership, artificial intelligence, consumer law, marketing law and legal tech. The thesis applies legal design methods to a real challenge in the student’s own organisation. Laurea uses its Learning by Developing model, and recognition of prior learning is possible.
