This Master of Business Administration programme is for students with an independent mindset who want to influence and change the surrounding world. Laurea University of Applied Sciences says it is designed for people with broad skill sets, from various backgrounds, who communicate well, have project experience, and want to develop their research and development skills.
The compulsory studies are 30 ECTS credits and are fully online. Laurea teaches them in English. They cover consumer behavior and brands, the Nudge and influencing individual and group behavior, modelling laws, the digital economy, digital marketing, and living in a changing world from an international perspective.
Students choose further elective courses from Laurea and other universities of applied sciences. They can include international offerings, on-campus electives, and, if language skills allow, courses in Finnish. Laurea also encourages electives in research methods and development methods. The degree is a Master of Business Administration and it gives eligibility for roles where a postgraduate degree is required.
