Master’s Degree Programme in Technological Transformation Leadership, online studies

LAB University of Applied Sciences offers the master’s degree programme in Technological Transformation Leadership for engineering and for social and health care students. The programme covers modern technologies and megatrends, change management and knowledge management, process and project management, and, for social and health care students, health and wellbeing emerging technologies, foundations and applications of artificial intelligence, and strategic leadership of technological transformation.

Engineering students complete 15 ECTS of core competence studies, 15 ECTS of complementary competence studies and a 30 ECTS master’s thesis. Social and health care students complete 35 ECTS of core competence studies, 25 ECTS of complementary competence studies and a 30 ECTS master’s thesis. LAB University of Applied Sciences states that core studies are usually taught on 2 to 4 online days per month, with independent work, online group work and elective master’s level courses from other universities available.

The programme is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in organisational change through technology. LAB University of Applied Sciences says the thesis may be carried out as a project commissioned by an external organisation or as part of a development project.
