The Mechanical Engineering Modelling MSc at Budapest University of Technology and Economics develops engineering skills for mechanical engineering modelling. It introduces theoretical, numerical, and programming techniques, and combines engineering sciences such as mechanics, materials, fluid and thermal sciences, and systems and control with laboratory and design experiences.
The programme uses a structure of 4 semesters and awards 120 ECTS. Students study mathematics and physics, advanced engineering skills, and themed specialisations. Specialisations are available in Design and Technology, Fluid Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, and Thermal Engineering, with course units covering topics such as finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, continuum mechanics, and energy conversion.
