Transportation Engineer MSc

The Transportation Engineer MSc at Budapest University of Technology and Economics is a master’s programme in transportation engineering. Students study courses covering engineering, mathematics, operations research, computer and data science, and management. The curriculum includes mathematics, control theory, numerical methods, decision making methods, and electronics and information and communication technologies.

The programme runs for 4 semesters with 120 ECTS. It combines advanced courses in transportation sciences and technology, transport economics, automation, traffic flow, intelligent transport systems, and road safety. Students complete Transport systems, Transport automatization, Transportation engineer manager, Freight forwarding management, or Air traffic management specializations, plus Master thesis 1 and 2 and an industrial practice of 4 weeks.
