Bachelor of Theology

The Bachelor of Theology at Ndejje University is designed to build a deep understanding of the Bible, Christian doctrine, church history, and practical ministry. Students study courses that cover biblical languages, biblical interpretation (hermeneutics and exegesis), research and writing skills, spiritual formation, church history, and Christian ethics and moral theology.

The program includes practical ministry exposure through internship or field ministry, and it includes church placements, fieldwork, and community service. It is delivered as a weekend study program over a duration of 3 years, with an emphasis on preaching, teaching, pastoral counseling, homiletics, and ministry leadership and administration.

• Direct Entry
  • Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes
  • Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with 2 principal passes in a relevant subject
• Diploma Entry
  • Relevant diploma in Theology or related field (Upper Second or Credit), recognized by NCHE
• Mature Age Entry
  • A minimum score of 50% in a recognized Mature Age Entry Examination
• International Applicants
  • Secondary school completion equivalent to Uganda’s A-Level
  • Academic documents must be equated where necessary
• English proficiency
  • Proof of English proficiency if prior education was not in English
