Bachelor of Science Education Honours Degree Chemistry Hbscedch Off Campus 2 Years

The Bachelor of Science Education Honours Degree in Chemistry (HBScEdCh) at Bindura University of Science Education is an off-campus program covering chemistry education alongside education-focused study. Students take modules including Mathematics for Chemists, Introduction to Computer Science, Health Education, History and Philosophy of Chemistry, Communication Skills, and Education research and statistics.

The program is organised into Part I (Semester I and Semester II) and Part II (Semester I and Semester II). It includes chemistry modules such as Physical Chemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Trends in Chemistry Education, Environmental Chemistry, Advanced Pedagogics in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, and Nanochemistry, plus Educational Management, Curriculum Issues and Comparative Education, and a Research Project.

To be eligible for admission, a candidate must:

• Have a Certificate in Education/Diploma in Education (Secondary Level) or other recognizable teaching qualification from an acceptable institution in which Chemistry was a major
• Have passed 5 ‘O’ Levels  subjects including Science, English Language and Mathematics
