Bachelor of Science Education Honours Degree in Chemistry Bscedh4 Years

The Bachelor of Science Education Honours Degree in Chemistry at Bindura University of Science Education combines Chemistry modules with education-focused modules. Students study physical, inorganic, organic, and analytical chemistry across multiple parts, alongside education foundations such as Psychological foundations of Education, Philosophical foundations of Education, and Sociological foundations of Education.

The programme runs through Part I to Part IV and includes a PROJECT at Part III. In Part I, students also complete Mathematics for Chemists, Physics for Chemists, and Communication Skills, plus a series of education courses. Part IV requires selecting an equivalent of at least four (4) credits from listed chemistry options, and includes Research Methods & Statistics.

A prospective student must meet the following requirements:

• have obtained a Pass at A-Level in Chemistry
• have one of the following subjects or their recognized equivalents; Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Physics, or (Physical Science)
• have a pass at O-Level in both English Language and Mathematics.
