The Bachelor of Science Education Honours Degree in Mathematics is a pre-service full-time programme at Bindura University of Science Education. It combines education studies with mathematics modules, including theoretical foundations of education, communication skills, research methods and statistics, and curriculum-focused units such as introduction to the curriculum and curriculum design implementation & evaluation.
Mathematics study is built through modules including calculus I and II, linear mathematics, ordinary differential equations, numerical methods, optimization, probability and statistics, and higher mathematics units such as vector calculus, Fourier series & PGE’s, and complex variable. The programme includes school experience across multiple secondary levels, plus a project (MT370) and additional teaching-focused modules such as pedagogics in the teaching subject (mathematics) and final applied science education.
Have passed 5 ‘O’ Levels subjects including Science, English Language and Mathematics. A Pass in A Level Mathematics and any other A Level subject.
