About this program

The Bachelor of Engineering in Sustainable Construction Technology prepares students for international careers in construction engineering. The programme covers civil and construction engineering, building materials, construction techniques, sustainability, and specialist study in timber technology, timber hybrid construction management and sustainability. It also aims to build communication skills and the ability to work in multicultural environments.

The degree is a 240 ECTS programme taught in English. It is delivered as full-time contact teaching in Lahti and takes four years. The structure includes Basic of Engineering, Construction Engineering, Specialization, Advanced Engineering, Practical Training and a thesis. The programme includes a 15-ECTS thesis, and students can complete part of their studies at partner institutions abroad or do practical training abroad.
