Business Administration, Bachelor and Master of Science (Economics and Business Administration)

This Bachelor’s Programme in Business Administration is a full-time, three-year programme in business studies at the University of Vaasa. It gives a work-life relevant and research-based business education. The programme focuses on understanding companies, their organisation and their business environments from a viewpoint that integrates sustainable business, energy and society.

You study fundamental principles of business, multi-disciplinary modules based around sustainability and digital transformation, and specialisation electives. The programme is organised in years. Year 1 covers introductory studies in study skills, technology and business studies. Years 2 and 3 cover major and specialisation studies, including profiling modules and electives. You can include an international exchange, an internship and the bachelor’s thesis.

The University of Vaasa says the programme prepares students to continue directly to Master’s level. After graduation, students can also work in roles in marketing, product/service development and logistics in Finland and in an international business environment.
