Chemistry of Sustainable Processes and Materials is a Master of Science programme in chemistry. University of Oulu says the studies offer a wide range of education opportunities in science and technology and hands-on experience with modern experimental techniques. The programme covers advanced major studies, optional advanced studies and optional studies. The major subject is Chemistry, and students choose a major line of study at the start of the degree.
The degree is 120 ECTS credits and takes two years. Teaching is mainly face-to-face, with online and blended teaching in some lecture courses. The programme also includes minor and major research projects, a seminar presentation, a Master’s thesis and a maturity test.
University of Oulu says the content has been shaped through international and national cooperation. It also states that the programme offers internationalisation through student exchange, internships outside Finland, virtual mobility, language courses, and exchange student tutoring.
