Hydrogen and Electric Systems is a two-year Master of Science (Technology) programme at Aalto University. It covers the hydrogen value chain, electric energy systems and technologies for production, storage, transport and use. The programme uses simulations and industry-linked projects.
The programme has two majors: Electric Energy and Hydrogen Systems, and Electric Components of Hydrogen Technology. Most major studies are completed in the first year. The second year is mainly for elective studies and the Master’s thesis. Students can choose elective courses from Aalto, other universities in Finland and abroad.
Aalto University says the programme prepares students to design carbon-neutral solutions. Graduates can work as developers, analysts or future energy leaders.
