Master of Culture and Arts, Theatre and Live Event Technology, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences

In Theatre and Live Event Technology, students deepen their professional expertise while developing their own work, organisation and the operating culture of the field. The programme focuses on the performance, theatre and live event industry, production management, and development processes in technical and artistic work environments.

The degree is 60 ECTS credits and takes one year. It is organised as flexible blended studies that can be completed alongside work. The studies include face-to-face and distance learning, and development tasks carried out in working life. There are about 3–5 teaching days per month from September to August.

Metropolia University of Applied Sciences says the programme is intended for experienced professionals in theatre, performance and live event technology who want to deepen their expertise and strengthen their leadership and management skills. The thesis is usually based on a development project at the student's workplace or in close cooperation with a company in the field.
