Jamk University of Applied Sciences describes this Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics as covering data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural network methods, large language models, and the mathematical models behind them. The programme also includes data privacy settings, quality requirements, ethical considerations, and choosing methods for different data sets.
The degree is 60 ECTS credits. Jamk delivers it through distance teaching and contact teaching. Contact days are held in Jyväskylä, usually on consecutive Fridays and Saturdays, and some elective studies may have extra contact days. E-learning is also used. The master’s thesis is 30 credits and is the core of the degree.
Jamk states that the degree programme does not include optional study paths. With the thesis and elective studies, students can concentrate on certain technology in data analytics and artificial intelligence, and on some certain technology in cyber security in one of the listed implementations.
