This Master of Engineering in Cyber Security is a 60 ECTS degree in Information and Communication Technologies. It covers cyber security technologies, legislation and regulations, cyber security system auditing, technical security testing, cyber security implementation, and applying cyber security methods to information systems.

Jamk University of Applied Sciences delivers the degree in English as blended teaching. Studies include contact lectures for 1 to 2 days once a month in Jyväskylä, mostly on weekends, remote studies, independent studies, group assignments, and learning in research and development projects and at workplaces. The master’s thesis is the core of the degree.

Jamk says the degree programme has no optional study paths. The thesis and elective studies allow concentration on certain fields in information technology.
