The Master of Engineering in Interactive Technologies centres on full-stack development for programmers. It covers front-end interactive interfaces, back-end development, UX and UI design principles, programming languages, frameworks and tools for full-stack development, and problem-solving for debugging, troubleshooting and code optimisation.
The degree is 60 ECTS and planned to take 1.5 years. Studies are organised into compulsory core competence studies, elective complementary competence studies and thesis work. The programme uses practical projects, team projects, guest lectures, workshops and possible internship opportunities. The thesis starts at the beginning of the studies and is carried out as a working-life-oriented development project. Turku University of Applied Sciences says the studies are flexible and can be completed while working full-time.
The programme is designed for people with a strong foundation in programming. It leads to expertise in full-stack development for interactive technology development and to further scientific studies.
