Master's Degree Programme in Data Expertise and Artificial Intelligence

Tampere University of Applied Sciences says this programme combines data expertise and artificial intelligence. Students learn to identify data needs, find ways to use data in their field, and develop data analysis and visualisation skills. The programme also includes hands-on experience with AI methods and applications, and it addresses responsibility and ethics in handling sensitive data. No prior ICT knowledge is required.

The programme is taught in English and has two implementations. The Master of Business Administration version is planned to take 1 year 6 months, and the Master of Engineering version is planned to take 1 year. Both include one intensive week in Finland. Between intensive weeks, students study through online lectures, seminars, coworking in groups and individual tasks. The programme does not have the required amount of contact teaching to allow students to immigrate to Finland.
