Responsible Management and Business of Sport, Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration/Master of Sport Sciences

The programme is in responsible management and business of sport. It focuses on managing sport organisations in a changing society and on applying responsibility and ethics in decision-making and organising in sport. It also covers scientific and practical knowledge for managing sport in the face of global challenges.

The degree takes 2 years and totals 120 ECTS credits. Students complete Advanced Studies in Responsible Management and Business of Sport. The completed degree is either the Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration or the Master of Sport Sciences, depending on the student’s background studies. Students also write a Master’s thesis.

University of Jyväskylä says the programme is based on close collaboration with academia and other stakeholders, practitioners and employers in sport organisations. It uses visiting lectures, group work, case studies, theses, research projects and research visits.
