Bachelor of Engineering Hons Mechatronic Engineering

The Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechatronic Engineering at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIT) blends AI, robotics, and systems theory. Students explore practical and conceptual areas including artificial intelligence, signal and systems theory, and control theory, with integration to computer science as mechanical and electrical components work together.

The programme structure shown includes engineering fundamentals, programming, electronics, and mechanical systems with hands-on lab experience. The schedule runs on weekdays/weekends. The awarding university for the internationally recognized programme is the University of Queensland.

Local A/Ls: Minimum of 2 "C" passes & 1 "S" pass in the Physical Science stream (covering Combined Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry).
Cambridge/Edexcel A/Ls :Minimum of 2 "B" passes & 1 "C" pass (covering Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry).
Successful completion of a Foundation Programme accepted by SLIIT.
Pass the Aptitude Test conducted by SLIIT.
Applicant should maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 to transfer.
