The Bachelor of Honours in Informations Systems at Women’s University in Africa prepares students for professional Information Systems practice across primary and secondary settings. It also provides Computer Science knowledge and skills to deliver developmental and therapeutic services, with objectives that include formulating, designing, implementing, and administering information systems programmes.
Students complete a minimum of thirty-three courses plus a project on an approved Computer Science problem. Assessment combines continuous assessment with end-of-course examinations, with coursework at 30% and examinations at 70%. The programme includes attachment for the whole of the third year, and progression to the project requires passing KBM225 Business Research Methods in the second year.
