The Bachelor of Science Honours in Crop Science helps students build knowledge of crop science. Students study crop science principles, including key scientific theories and practical skills for sustainable crop production. The programme also focuses on problem-solving in crop science and production, and on designing and managing efficient and sustainable crop production systems and practices.
The programme uses a structured course plan with Part I, Part II, Part III, and Part IV. Students study courses such as Introduction to Biochemistry, Soil Science, Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Principles of Crop Production, Crop Ecology and Physiology, and Natural Resource Management. It includes Industrial Attachment in Part III and includes Research Project in Part IV.
