Master of Science in Biodeversity Conservation

The MSc in Biodiversity Conservation at Bindura University of Science Education focuses on biological principles underlying biodiversity, and it covers biodiversity assessment, utilisation, and management/conservation. The programme aims to mitigate effects of climate change on biodiversity and to uphold related international conventions.

The programme is structured as two academic years of full time or block release study. Part 1 includes a minimum of five courses in Semester 1 and a minimum of five courses in Semester 2, with core courses included. Part 2 includes a minimum of two courses in Semester 1 and a dissertation in Semester 1 and Semester 2.

Normal Entry: Candidates must have obtained a BSc. Honours Degree in either Biological Sciences or Environmental Sciences or any other relevant Degree with at least a 2.2 grade or equivalent

Special Entry: Students with a Pass may be considered for the programme if they have at least two years relevant experience.
