The Master of Science in Crop Production at Africa University is a postgraduate program in the Department of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences within the College of Health, Agriculture and Natural Sciences. Students study advanced crop production topics such as Advanced Plant Pathology, Insect Pest Management, Weed Ecology and Management, Irrigation Agronomy, Crop Improvement, Advanced Soil Fertility Management, and Research Methods, plus Biostatistics.
The program is delivered as a full-time, main campus two-year programme. Each student conducts a research project approved by the College and submits a dissertation by the end of the second academic year. The curriculum includes a dissertation proposal stage and research, analysis, and dissertation preparation.
