The Bachelor of Hospitality Management at Laurea University of Applied Sciences covers tourism and hospitality management. Students study responsible, profitable and customer-oriented business, customer experiences, long-term customer relationships, sustainability, work communities, customer-oriented processes, and responsible business operations. Laurea says students can specialise in tourism, events, accommodation or restaurant business management.

The studies combine theoretical knowledge with working life projects. Laurea says cooperation with companies and organisations in multicultural and international settings is central. The programme also develops teamwork, interaction and online studying skills. The degree includes a 15-credit thesis.

Laurea says graduates can work in tourism and hospitality management, customer service, development and management positions, or as entrepreneurs in Finland and abroad. Graduates work in private, public or third sector organisations.
