Bachelor of Hospitality Management, Service Experience Management, at Laurea University of Applied Sciences focuses on responsible, profitable and customer-oriented business in tourism and hospitality. Students study customer experience, long-term customer relationships, sustainability, work communities, customer-oriented processes and responsible business operations. Laurea also says students can specialise in tourism, events, accommodation or restaurant business management.
The programme combines compulsory core competencies, complementary competencies, job placements and a final project or thesis. Studies include Laurea-level joint studies, and students can study alongside Finnish students on the same curriculum. Teaching is by contact teaching in English.
Laurea says the programme builds skills for domestic and international customers and supports work in tourism and hospitality as well as other fields that need customer service, marketing, organising and development skills.
