This double degree Master’s Programme in Applied Physics is based at LUT and leads to the Master of Science (Technology) degree. It focuses on materials science with semiconductor technology, smart materials, superconductors, applied physics instrumentation, computational physics and data analysis of experiments.
LUT says the programme develops expertise in applied, industrial and experimental physics. Students study the basic theory, problem-solving practices, and computational and experimental methods of applied physics, and learn to use physics in clean energy, communication and information technologies, and health and environmental sciences.
The programme is planned to take two years and combines contact teaching and online studies. It is taught in English and delivered as blended teaching.
