The Master’s programme in International Management prepares students to operate responsibly and successfully in influential decision-maker positions in a globalized environment. It develops knowledge and skills in strategy, business development, leadership, and cross-cultural understanding.
The programme is 120 ECTS credits and runs over two consecutive academic years. The first year covers international strategy, political economy, business analytics, and financial management, and includes the 20 ECTS Master’s thesis. The second year is the CEMS Master’s in International Management year, with CEMS studies, a CEMS term abroad, a CEMS business project, and elective CEMS studies.
Aalto University says the programme uses contact teaching and requires consistent physical presence in Finland. It also says students can write the thesis in pairs.
