About this program

Turku University of Applied Sciences’ Master of Engineering in Sales Management is a 60 ECTS degree focused on sales management in a global business environment. Students study leadership for sales teams, customer behaviour in B2B markets, sales growth strategies, negotiation, and communication in international and multicultural settings.

The studies are organised as 20 ECTS of compulsory core competencies, 10 ECTS of elective complementary competences, and a 30 ECTS thesis. The programme uses blended teaching with lectures, seminars, e-learning, teamwork and independent work. Some elective studies are offered completely virtually, and there are on average two contact days each month. The planned duration is 1.5 years and the studies can be completed while working full-time.

The programme is targeted to people with several years of work experience in sales or as a sales team leader who want to move into sales management or strengthen their leadership skills in the digital era.

Entry requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in technology from a university of applied sciences: Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Health Care (Biomedical Laboratory Science), Bachelor of Engineering (Construction Architect), or Bachelor of Construction Management
  • Or a technical university degree, for example Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Science in Engineering, or Master of Science (Architecture), completed in Finland or abroad
  • Or a post-secondary or higher vocational level diploma in engineering completed in Finland
  • At least 24 months of work experience in a relevant field, accumulated from the date of award of the eligible final degree certificate and obtained no later than the end of the application semester
