Software Engineering and Business is a 60 ECTS Master of Engineering for ICT and business professionals. Turku University of Applied Sciences says it is designed for people who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology and gained work experience. The programme covers software engineering, artificial intelligence, software business, enterprise architecture, technical sales, secure software development, quantum technologies, and digital transformation.
The studies include advanced professional studies, optional studies, and a Master’s thesis. The modules are The Future Operating Environments, Software Architecture & Integration, Applied AI in Software Development, Enterprise architecture, and Software Sales. You choose one optional study from Secure Software Development, Software Risk & Compliance, or Software Development Project. The thesis runs throughout the studies and is linked to the student’s own professional context, an organisation, Turku UAS research groups, or theFIRMA.
Turku University of Applied Sciences says the degree prepares graduates for demanding specialist, consulting, development, sales, and leadership roles. It also gives eligibility for further academic studies and qualification to apply for professional teacher education.
