Master of Engineering, Sustainability Management

Master of Engineering, Sustainability Management is a 60 ECTS degree in engineering and engineering trades. It focuses on sustainability management, sustainability reporting, business responsibility, organisational carbon footprints, life-cycle impacts of products, processes and services, and energy service management.

In the first year, you identify your professional role in Sustainability Management and study sustainability and management topics through Identifying Sustainability, elective studies and Managing Sustainability. In the second year, you work in co-creation projects with Sustainability Management partner organisations and complete a thesis based on collaboration with working life.

Karelia University of Applied Sciences says the programme gives experience of research and development methods, case assignments based on working-life tasks, and elective studies that may be selected from other universities and INVEST University Alliance Programmes.
