Master's degree programme in Global Health and Crisis Management, Master of Health Care

The Global Health and Crisis Management Master’s degree programme focuses on health care and crisis leadership, management and development from the perspectives of global health and humanity, socially sustainable development, evidence-based infection prevention and control, crisis preparedness, management and communication.

Laurea University of Applied Sciences says the programme uses its Learning by Developing model. Students take part in development and research projects, and can choose studies from other Master’s programmes at Laurea or from Laurea’s national and international partner institutes if they meet the curriculum requirements.

Graduates develop evidence-based, ethical and cross-cultural expertise for leadership and management in global health and crisis contexts. The programme also develops expertise in infection prevention and control, nutrition and crisis management.
