The Bachelor of Health Care in Biomedical Laboratory Science prepares students for clinical laboratory work. The programme covers biomedical laboratory science supported by biomedical sciences, specimen collection, diagnostic testing, near patient examinations, professional communication and quality control.
Teaching includes group work, lectures, independent and virtual learning, laboratory work, examinations and work-based projects. Supervised internship starts in the second semester. The degree consists of Core Studies, Professional Studies, Elective studies, Practice and a Bachelor’s Thesis.
