The Master of Health Care, Digital Health, Online studies at Savonia University of Applied Sciences focuses on digital social and health care services. The studies cover digitalisation, client and patient participation, business intelligence, interdisciplinary collaboration, entrepreneurship, mobile and IoT applications, and the management of digitalised health services.
The degree is 90 ECTS credits and is organised as online studies. Savonia says the studies include 30 ECTS of common studies, 30 ECTS of field-specific professional studies and a thesis. Students make a personal study plan with a tutoring teacher. The thesis is working-life related and can be done as development work, developmental research or a project.
The programme prepares graduates for expert and managerial positions in multiprofessional workplaces. Savonia says the degree qualifies graduates for public sector posts and for further licentiate and doctoral studies at a university.
