About this program

This degree programme is for ICT professionals seeking specialist-level expertise at the intersection of software engineering and artificial intelligence. Oulu University of Applied Sciences says the studies are planned with regional ICT industry and are practically oriented, with software engineering, AI technologies, data engineering, analytics and scientific thinking.

The programme is completed entirely online. Teaching is in the evenings on agreed times, Monday to Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm Finnish time, and some courses have time- and place-independent implementation. The thesis focuses on applied research or a concrete development project.
