Strategic Management in a Changing World is a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration at Aalto University. It teaches students how to develop strategy in a rapidly changing world. The programme covers sustainability, digitalization, globalization and entrepreneurship, and it aims to build analytical decision-makers who can identify business opportunities and bring an entrepreneurial mindset into their organisations.
The programme lasts two years and uses contact teaching. It has 120 ECTS credits in total. The structure consists of core studies worth 90 ECTS, including a 20 ECTS Master’s thesis, and 30 ECTS of general electives, specialisation or minor studies. In the first year, students build a foundation for strategic management and decision-making. In the second year, they focus on thesis work, elective courses, business projects and assignments.
Aalto University says the degree grants eligibility for doctoral studies. It also says students can apply to the CEMS Masters in Management to complete it in parallel with the degree.
