LUT’s Electrical Engineering master’s programme covers electrical engineering, industrial operations, and the engineering and technological knowledge needed to design, assess and improve electrical systems. It focuses on electrical energy as a key part of energy production, energy consumption, and the energy transition towards a sustainable economy.

The programme is planned for two years and is taught through contact teaching. It gives you knowledge, skills, and capabilities for professional growth and lifelong learning. The learning outcomes include applying electrical engineering theories to electrotechnical and electronics applications, working independently and scientifically, and solving complex problems and tasks.

LUT says the programme also prepares students for scientific doctoral studies.
