Master of Engineering, Health Business Management, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences

Health Business Management is a Master of Engineering degree for Bachelor of Engineering professionals with work experience from, or career plans in, the restructuring of social and health care. The course uses a multidisciplinary approach to explore innovative solutions and new business models for renewing the sector, with attention to service quality, efficiency and human-oriented decision-making.

Students work with business graduates, engineering graduates, and graduates from Health Care and Social Services on problem-solving situations and learning tasks. The programme is taught in English and is delivered as blended studies.

The thesis is 30 ECTS. Students demonstrate independent research and development capabilities and academic communication skills. The thesis can be completed with an employer, public or private sector organisations, Metropolia's innovation hubs, Metropolia research programmes, RDI projects, or other partners.
