About this program

Service Design Strategies and Innovations is a jointly organised Erasmus Mundus master’s programme with a focus on service design, management and business. The University of Lapland says the programme educates versatile service innovators who can enable change in public and private organisations through strategic design, management and creative leadership.

Students study service design as the main subject. The programme has study periods in Kuldīga, Tallinn and Rovaniemi. Students work with real industry partners on study topics and projects, and the University of Lapland says the programme has strong connections to industry.

The University of Lapland, the Art Academy of Latvia and the Estonian Academy of Arts award multiple degrees on completion. The programme is based on international co-operation, includes an integrated mobility semester, and graduates are eligible to apply for doctoral level studies.
