RePIC is a two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in the field of architecture and construction. It focuses on post-industrial cities, urban transformations, urban design, interdependent human and environmental urban systems, sociological and cultural approaches to urban dynamics, and the revitalisation of post-industrial cities from social science, sustainability and circular economy perspectives.
The programme runs over four semesters and carries 120 ECTS credits. It is fully delivered in English and includes tailored mandatory mobility between partner campuses. The curriculum uses participatory approaches such as CityLabs, Urban Field-Classes and Engaged Research Practices, together with structured project collaboration, social design studios, digital storytelling and immersive design fictions. In the second semester, students choose one of four thematic specialisation tracks.
In the fourth semester, students choose one of three dissertation or thesis forms: a traditional dissertation, a research manuscript aiming at publication, or a practical project with documentation. The programme is designed for students interested in post-industrial urban change and leads to doctoral study.
